The Nick Berg Scholarship is awarded to a graduating individual from Nick's Alma Mater, Henderson High School. This award is bestowed by committee and presented to a student who has been an active participant of the music programs and shows enthusiasm for learning, especially in the sciences. The recipient of this award will have generous spirit, positive attitude, strong relationship with peers and teachers, and a steadfast desire for learning and success. 

We are proud to honor Nick in this way and we wish to continue our fund in perpetuity.  We also strive to increase the scholarship amount.  The original endowment was funded purely by individuals who were grieving over the world’s loss of Berg.  Now we raise funds through community events like Berg-O-Palooza and by simply sharing our story and asking humbly. 

We thank those who have contributed both time and money, and we apologize for overlooking anyone who has benefited our cause.
